The project of Papa started from the end of July, 2012 and listed on Oct. after several adjustments, which ranked first in the social application of appstore within two months.Papa is a product which can make people released to feel and experience the life, which is just to share the details and feelings of life. In that case, everybody can record their own life by instant voice and video and give natural comments.

Not because of somebody, something, but a simple moment makes people intend to say something. When you pay attention to one paper indeed, you will have a lot of things to say, and you can hear unexpected voices at the same time.

Picture is a carrier that can keep the memory rapidly, while speaking is the natural expression of people. The life in one moment can be recorded completely by one picture or one sentence only. The name of Papa is decided by the attribute of these two kinds of products. The Chinese Pa “啪”is constitute by “口”and“拍”, “口” is used to speak, while “拍” means taking pictures.

Voice is closely related to picture, and the combination with such two different dimensions can be regarded as a real record. The relationship between them in design must be inlaid, picture first, then comes by video, which should place at the top of picture. This kind of thinking breakthrough the traditional concept and it is a special visual form based on the property of Papa product.

Moreover, it is necessary to reflect a placid neutral beauty, which can show the concept of experiencing the life with a relaxed state of mind. If take music as a metaphor, it is neither popular or classic songs, nor folk rhyme, it is mute and soundless, which will not interrupt people to record a different scene due to the uniqueness on design.

Therefore, the reflection of design is the basic morphology that all the pictures and design need to be restored. Actually, circular and linear are the basic elements to construct the logo and interface. Lines with equal width and perfect circle can show its neutral peace.

Profile page can be designed into more special. Everybody can introduce themselves by a song or just a paragraph of sentences. Moreover, it can make users to explore more excellent post if they like to appear in feeds.

Each trial is aim to meet the necessary product operation through the simplest way, which make users to find the only solution and path without consideration.Finally I’d like to say my comprehending of concept. What is concept? Everything existed in the world has its own concept. Just like when you are asked what is orange? Then various features of its taste, appearance and so on will come into your mind, which only belong to orange. But what is the difference between apple and orange? Although they are fruits, we can not tell the difference of each attribute easily, this is concept.

Concept is the only way to demonstrate its existence. Who am I? What’s the difference between me and him? What do I want? Each successful product has its own clear concept, product without concept can not be remembered by people, let alone let people find its position from their life.

Wechat. You are just another product and they will respect the special attribute of yours. Just like apple, nobody said apple has good nutrition but it would be better if it has the same taste as orange. Similarly, nobody will say it would be better if twitter can send picture and video.

不是因为某个人,某件事,而是简单的一个的瞬间让人觉得我想说点什么了。当你真正的关注某篇文章时,你会有各种想说的话,同时也能收到意想不到的声音。图片是可以快速准确留下记忆的载体,而说话是一个人最自然的表达方式。一张图,一句话清晰完整的记录这个时刻的生活。啪啪这个名字也是由于这两个产品属性决定的,单个一个“啪”由“口”和“拍”组成,口用来说话,拍自然是拍照的意思。

声音和图片是密不可分的,这两个不同的维度相结合才是一次最真实的记录。在设计上他们一定要在设计上是“镶嵌”关系,图片先行,声音的播放其后要压在图片的上方。这是突破传统设计的思维方式,为啪啪的产品属性特制的视觉形式。

在设计上要体现一种平和的中性美,才能表达出放松的心态去感受和记录生活这个概念。如果以音乐为比喻,他不是流行不是经典也不是民谣,他是静音,是无声的。不会因为设计上的独特而去干扰人们么以一次不同情景的记录。所以在设计上的体现是所有的图形和设计要还原最基础的形态,圆形和直线是构成标志和界面的基础元素,等宽的线条,正圆的形态表现出他的中性和平美。

profile页面其实可设计的更加独特一些,每个人都可以用一段话,一首歌来介绍自己。喜欢出现在feeds里面也可以让用户发现更多优秀的post。每一次的尝试都是追求用最简单形式满足必然性的产品操作。让用户在使用当中无需思考就能找到唯一解决方案和路径的感觉。

最后说下对概念的理解,什么是概念?每一个世上存在的事物都有自己的概念。就像你问什么是橘子?心目中自然会对应上味道、外观各种独特的属性,这是只属于橙子的。那苹果和橘子之间有什么区别?虽然都是水果,但却轻易的说出每一个属性的不同,这就是概念。

概念是让事物证明他的存在的唯一方式,我是谁?我和他有什么区别?我要什么?每个成功的产品都是有明确概念的,没有概念的产品不会被人记住,更不会让人们在他们的生命中找到他应该在的位置。概念清晰的产品很容易让人们记住,有自己概念的产品会使得用户心目中的尺子就不存在,他不会那你和微信比。他会看做你是另外一个产品。会尊重你本身的属性。就像苹果一样,没人会说苹果很有营养但要像橘子的味道就好了。没人会说twiiter能发图片和视频就好了一样的道理。
